MOA is a fast-growing cloud-based ERP provider seeking a passionate and ambitious individual looking to establish their career in a rapidly growing cloud-based ERP market (SaaS). The individual will be responsible for all aspects of accounting and feedback and support of our customers for our financial software. The ideal candidate will be a personable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, reliable, and organized professional who is comfortable explaining & training clients on different aspects of accounting in person or over the phone.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and discuss financial reporting package with the Company’s executives and owners.
  • Assisted with the month-end and quarter-end close process, including preparing journal entries and supporting reconciliations for key balance sheet and income statement accounts, and identifying and resolving significant account fluctuations and potential errors.
  • Track revenue recognition per Master Service Agreement.
  • Track Company’s day-to-day accounting-related tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Ensuring timely and accurate monthly billing and accounts receivable follow-up.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the user guides and documentation, including providing customer training on the usage of the Company’s ERP solution.
  • Assist with the maintaining and resolving of incoming customer support tickets.
  • Assist software engineers in modifying and developing accounting-related functionalities of the Company’s ERP solution, including performing testing on suggested modifications and newly developed functionalities to ensure that all issues and bugs have been properly resolved.
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of Company related taxes for the CPA.
  • Research and resolve payroll and benefits issues, responding to federal and state notices received by the Company.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of the Company through analysis and identification of opportunities.
  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
  • Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
  • Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
  • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
  • Report analysis and findings to the management team

Qualifications:

  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have an extensive knowledge of Accounting procedures
  • Attention to detail is an absolute MUST.
  • Consistent punctuality, reliability, friendliness, and professionalism even while under pressure.
  • Excellent Microsoft computer skills and proficiency in Google Calendar, Google Docs, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests and inquiries in a professional, friendly, and upbeat manner.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Positive and self-motivated.
  • Flexible team player – willing to learn new tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  • Must be a problem solver and address issues in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of other ERP or Accounting software preferred
  • Previous experience in accounting In ERP software, i.e., NetSuite
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

      • Become an expert in our software to demonstrate core functionality and value propositions as it relates to different types of businesses.
      • Manage sales activities through our CRM including processing leads, tracking and reporting
      • Comfortable with demonstrating and presenting technology products
      • Ability to offer clients first line of communications for support
      • Quick study with the ability to learn and apply new information, think on your feet, and problem-solve
